Footwear Solutions was founded in 2000 by Martin Jenkins, a podiatrist in private practice.

Over the previous eight years of clinical practice, Martin had been constantly disappointed by the footwear advice given to his patients by high street shoe shop staff. He felt that shoes should be easily available to everyone including those with, what were previously thought of as, awkward or difficult feet.

At Footwear Solutions we endeavour to offer the service we would like to experience when buying shoes ourselves. We carry a smaller range of styles than some shoe shops but from experience we know that these shoes fit more feet well and can be easily modified to improve the fit for the more difficult foot.

However, we would be very happy to chat with you over the phone about any more complex shoes fitting issues you might have. Our staff include qualified Chiropodists and Podiatrists, and members of the Society of Shoe Fitters.
